The Grow Up Rhubarb Gin

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle of Lidl gin (or any affordable gin)

  • 3–4 sticks of rhubarb, chopped

  • Zest of 1 orange/lemon (optional)

  • Thumb-sized ginger slice (optional)

  • 3–4 tbsp sugar

Serving ideas:

Over ice with tonic

Splashed into prosecco

As a homemade gift

Method:

  • Add rhubarb, zest, ginger, and sugar to a jar.

  • Pour in gin, seal, and shake.

  • Steep for 1–2 weeks, shaking daily.

  • Strain into a clean bottle and enjoy!

How to Make It:

  • Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.

  • Add the rosemary and simmer for 15–20 minutes.

  • Let it cool completely, then strain out the rosemary.

  • Add a few drops of essential oil if using, and pour into a spray bottle.

  • Store in the fridge and use within 1–2 weeks.
