Earth Cycle

Earth Cycle is a family-run, Southern England-based business that transforms local green waste, such as council “green bin” collections, tree trimmings, and landscape cuttings, into high-quality, peat-free composts, soils, and mulches. They follow a carefully controlled 14-week process: shredding, sanitising, stabilising, and screening the compost to PAS100 standards, with many products also certified organic by OF&G.

Each year, Earthcycle diverts around 100,000 tonnes of green waste from landfill, turning over 50,000 tonnes into nutrient-rich soil improvers. Their composts—ranging from no-dig and vegetable blends to soil conditioners and topsoil—improve soil structure, help retain water, suppress weeds, and support beneficial soil life.

 Core Values & Sustainability Ethos

  • Zero peat, zero waste: Earthcycle’s products are 100% peat-free and made locally, reducing carbon footprint and protecting fragile peatland ecosystems

  • Closing the loop: They turn materials that would otherwise go to landfill into valuable resources—saving councils millions and cutting methane emissions

  • Certified quality: PAS100-compliant, Soil Association and OF&G approved, ensuring both safety and effectiveness.

  • Community-focused: As a family-run business, Earthcycle supports local sustainability initiatives and values people and planet alongside profit.

Why We Love Them – And You Will, Too
