By 2000 this had dropped to 9,000 and we're back up to 46,000 now, but that's not enough! We would love to see 100,000 beekeepers in the UK.

Its such a wonderful thing to learn about and include our children too, so often we are just scared of bees but when you understand them more you realise just how special they are and how keeping them could be so much fun.
